Kuranui Lodge

Kuranui offers luxury hunting accommodation. Kuranui Lodge is situated in the middle of a private hunting reserve and game animals can often be seen from the windows as they graze in their natural surroundings. Architecturally designed and built by Mort and Mel, it is the first of its kind in New Zealand using timber and straw bale construction. Luxurious and rustic Kuranui lodge is the perfect retreat.

A log fire in the huge stone fireplace welcomes the hunters return. Enjoying a beverage from the well stocked bar and sinking into the leather lounge suite provides welcome relaxation after an exciting day.

Upstairs the Lodge has two double bedrooms which can be furnished with either a quality super king bed or two super singles. Feather and down blankets and duvets and luxurious pillows ensure a great night of warmth and comfort. Each room has its own ensuite.

Located close to the Lodge is a strawbale villa which has two double bedrooms with ensuites and offers the same level of style and comfort with the added luxury of a relaxing bath.
